Tap Cancer Out is a 501(c)3 non-profit whose mission is to motivate and empower sports communities to raise awareness and funds for cancer fighting organizations. We believe the best way to motivate individuals to fundraise for a cause is to give them the opportunity to “tap” into their passions, allowing them to make and change the world through the activities they love. Since our inception in 2011, Tap Cancer Out has proudly donated more than $4.75 million dollars to cancer fighting organizations.

FOUNDER & VP OF MARKETING AND OPERATIONS AT TAP CANCER OUT

In 2010, Jon realized that there was no philanthropic presence in the sport of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. By 2011, Tap Cancer Out was born, with a mission to end cancer through the BJJ community. Jon leads Tap Cancer Out’s vision, strategic growth and partnerships. He has been training in BJJ since 2008 and was awarded his black belt in August of 2018. With her husband, Jon, Becky helped create Tap Cancer Out in 2010. She is an invaluable element of Tap Cancer Out operations, marketing, social media, business development and event management.
